Instead of having a nice cup of coffee at Doutour or other coffee shops, I bought this packed ready-to-drink coffee carrying the name of a long-established coffee shop in Kyoto, priced at around 500 yen at a local .
Its tastes much stronger than the coffee I usually drink, even when diluted by half. The pack contains a litre of coffee, so it should make about 20 cups if I "double" the quantity. Then the price per cup would probably be about the same as my everyday drip coffee from convenience stores  (230 yen for 10 individually packed coffee at Family Mart).

Not so outrageously decadent, don't you think so?

However, I know people who could save money wouldn't do this type of splash out.

ドトールなど外でコーヒーを飲む代わりに、こんなものを買ってみました。京都の老舗コーヒー店が名前貸した的なリキッドコーヒーです。ボンラパスで500円くらいでした。

飲んでみると、半分に薄めてもふだんのコーヒーよりも濃い。ということは、1リットル入りなので、大体20杯分くらいになるかと思われます。つまり1杯当たりの値段は毎日飲んでるドリップコーヒー（ファミリーマートで10パック入り230円）と大体同じくらい。

罰当たりなほど贅沢というわけでもなさそうな気もしますが、どうでしょう？

もっとも、お金を貯める人はこういうタイプの無駄遣いはしないような気がしますが。
